Our extensive experience spans a vast array of development projects and delivery methods, making us well-versed in the complexities and challenges that come with each unique venture. We specialize in acting as the Owner’s Representative, providing expert oversight and management to ensure your project’s success.
Our Story
Westbourne Projects Ltd was officially incorporated in 2013. The concept for the company originated when Nick was working at UBC Properties Trust. During his tenure there, he observed the pivotal role the UBCPT development team played in creating campus buildings and the immense value they brought to these projects. He noticed that many other stakeholders, with limited experience in large capital projects, relied heavily on the expertise of the UBCPT team to ensure projects were completed on time, within budget, and met the users’ needs. Recognizing a similar need for development management expertise in the private sector, Nick decided to start Westbourne Projects Ltd, and the rest, as they say, is history.
What’s In The Name?
The name “Westbourne” was chosen for several reasons. Located in Canada’s westernmost province, it reflects our geographic roots. Additionally, the Westbourne River in London, England, where Nick and his wife lived for a time, served as inspiration. This river flows from north London into the Thames, through a large pipe above the Sloane Square tube station, symbolizing determination, longevity, and ingenuity—values that are integral to our company.
